Counting a till in Pakistan
Pakistan is a notes economy in practice. Paisa coins were demonetised in 2014, and while the State Bank still issues Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5 and Rs 10 coins, most retail cash moves as notes from Rs 10 to Rs 5,000.
Nothing is rounded, so the drawer should balance to the rupee. The Rs 5,000 note is the one to watch — a single note in or out is a large difference, so count those in their own pile.
If the total is close but not exact, check the Rs 20 and Rs 50 notes. They pass through a till fastest and are the easiest to miscount.
About this tool
The Pakistani rupee till calculator adds up notes and coins as you type, compares the total with the float you expected, and prints or exports a cash-up slip. Nothing is uploaded — the count stays in your browser.
