Counting a till in Thailand
The smallest coin still used in Thailand is 25 satang, but in practice most shops round to the baht and many don't accept satang at all.
If the drawer is a few baht out, look at the satang first — rounding across a day of sales is the usual cause.
Sales are mostly ฿20, ฿50, ฿100, ฿500 and ฿1,000 notes. Count the thousand-baht notes in bundles of ten and set them aside before you total up.
